Gorgeous views, a moderately difficult hike. It gets very windy at the top of the hike but worth it. Bring water and sunscreen. Nice gift shop at bottom near the parking lot. Full review by jeff s

Are they strict about reservation times? Has anyone been able to enter before their pre-booked time? We made reservations for 11am, thinking we can realistically get there between 10:30-11am. I read online you could be denied if you arrived after 30 min into your slot, so just curious if they are lenient about letting people in early if its not crowded.

If you are wanting the time to go into the crater reservation I’m not sure what is going wrong. When I did it it was really easy and that’s the site I used.
