The Stockton Police Department is investigating a shooting that left a man dead on Saturday night. Around 6:33 p.m., officers responded to the area of MLK Boulevard and Aurora Street for a shooting. They arrived on the scene and found the victim,

STOCKTON – A man died after a shooting in Stockton Saturday night, police said. The shooting happened around 6:30 p.m. in the area of Martin Luther King Boulevard Jr. Boulevard and Aurora Street. Officers said they found a man in his 40s suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital where he later died.

Stockton police said a 22-year-old woman and a man in his 40s were shot and killed in separate shootings on Saturday.

Two fatal shootings in Stockton on Saturday night leave the city just one homicide shy of last year's total, with seven weeks left in the year.

At least one person is reported injured after a shooting took place in Antioch Sunday. Officers responded to The Spot liquor store located in Sycamore Square around 2:55 p.m. and found a 23-year-old man injured and suffering a gunshot wound.
