The NBA community has rallied around the city, with players and coaches expressing support across social media. Lakers rookie Bronny James joined others in calling for support, posting "Pray for LA" on X.

The Los Angeles Lakers were forced to postpone their game on Thursday against the Charlotte Hornets due to the raging wildfires throughout Southern California. It remains to be seen when the game will be made up but the NBA decided that it was best to move things until it was safer.

Nonprofit groups are working to distribute essential supplies to those impacted by the fires across the Los Angeles area.
