Qatar has halted its mediation efforts between Israel and Hamas, citing a lack of willingness from both sides to engage constructively, according to a diplomatic source briefed on the matter.

Palestinians in central Gaza on Sunday expressed frustration over Qatar's decision to suspended its mediation efforts to try and bring an end to the war between Israel and Hamas.

Qatar has announced a suspension of its mediation efforts in the Gaza ceasefire negotiations between Israel and Hamas. The Qatari Foreign Ministry stated that it will pause its role until both parties demonstrate "willingness and seriousness" to resume talks.
