North America CEO, has resigned after only six months in the role. What Happened: Conway, who took on the position in April, informed the company of his decision last week, as per a Securities and Exchange Commission filing.

Starbucks announced that North American CEO Michael Conway is retiring. The move comes just five months after Conway’s appointment to the position, which was part of a broader corporate leadership restructuring based on geography.

Kind Snacks appoints Daniel Calderoni as CEO of its North American business. Calderoni brings more than 20 years of global experience and will report to Blas Maquivar, global president of health and wellness, Mars Snacking.

The coffee giant will not backfill the role, which was created less than six months ago, but is seeking a global chief brand officer.
