The United States Postal Service (USPS) recently announced it will not be increasing stamp prices at the start of next year. Following a recommendation put forth by Postmaster General Louis DeJoy to not raise prices for some of its products,

(USPS) has made a surprise announcement this week regarding stamp prices for 2025. According to a recommendation by Postmaster General Louis DeJoy, prices will not be raised in January 2025 for market dominant products — such as first-class mail.

The U.S. Postal Service said on Friday it will not hike stamp prices in January for the first time since January 2022 after a series of price hikes in recent years.

The USPS regularly releases new stamps to commemorate and celebrate holidays for all different faiths. Recent offerings include special stamps for the Jewish holiday Hanukkah, which is celebrated for eight days, usually in December, and Day of the Dead, the Mexican holiday which pays respects and remembers friends and family members who have died.

Our strategies are working and projected inflation is declining,” said Postmaster General DeJoy regarding the cost of stamps.
