In some cities and towns, polls closed at 7 p.m.; others will close at 8 p.m. Results for president, governor, and Congress are forthcoming.

The following states will close their polls at 8 p.m. local time on Election Day: New York polls opened at 6 a.m. and close at 9 p.m. on Election Day for in-person voting. Some states don’t have a uniform statewide end time. In New Hampshire and North Dakota polls are open depending on your county or municipality.
