There are 12 candidates and counting that have been reported to have already interviewed or have interviews on the books with the Jets as of Monday afternoon. Mike Vrabel, who most recently was the head coach of the Tennessee Titans from 2018-23, had reportedly a positive interview in New York.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport is reporting that the New York Jets have requested a head coach interview with Pittsburgh Steelers offensive coordinator Arthur Smith. Smith interviewed with the Jets back in 2021 when New York elected to hire Robert Saleh as head coach.
