US President-elect Donald Trump may be good for China's export business — at least temporarily. Trump, who won the presidential election, has pledged to impose sweeping tariffs of 10% to 20% on imports to the US.

Trump has proposed a universal 10% to 20% tariff on imports from all foreign countries and an additional 60% to 100% tariff on imports specifically from China. Retailers that depend on foreign suppliers are preparing to hike prices and pass along the cost of Trump’s proposed import tariffs to consumers.
