Latest weather data shows that Anne Arundel and other southern and central counties could see 9 to 11 inches of snow Monday as meteorologists predict the heaviest portion of the storm to pass over Central Maryland — prompting increased snowfall predictions statewide.

WASHINGTON — It’s official — snow lovers rejoice! The first major snowfall of 2025 has blanketed D.C., Maryland and Virginia. After a bitterly cold morning across the region, sunshine will continue this afternoon, but temperatures will remain cold. Highs for the rest of the day will top out in the lower 30s across the area.
