The U.S. Department of Justice filed an Antitrust lawsuit against Visa on Tuesday claiming that the credit card issuer is monopolizing the debit card market. According to the complaint, the financial services juggernaut has used its size and dominance to create a chokehold on the debit card market and costing businesses and consumers tons of money.
