PlayStation's free PS Plus games for January 2025 are now available for a limited time, and one of the titles is a very controversial title from 2024.

PlayStation Plus subscribers are just hours away from the launch of the next batch of free PS4 and PS5 games for January.

It’s a new year and that means another round of PlayStation Plus games are inbound. The month of January features some uneven offerings, a critical and commercial failure, a cult classic and a beloved indie darling.

After trying out a 95% discount on Steam in November, Suicide Squad will be free to all PlayStation Plus subscribers for a month starting Jan. 7. It’s one of the three free monthly games offered as part of PlayStation Plus Essential in January, the others being Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered and The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe.

PS Plus subscribers can take on the Justice League, satisfy their need for speed, and explore one of the weirdest games of all time this month.
