Rock slide closes both directions of Highway 40 in Colorado's mountains
A large rockslide closed both directions of Highway 40 near Milner in Routt County on Wednesday morning. The Colorado State Patrol said there were no injuries in the rockslide.

The Colorado Department of Transportation closed Highway 40 west of Steamboat, near Milner after a rockslide covered lanes of traffic. According to NW and SW Colorado Communications Manager for CDOT Lisa Schwantes,

Major rockslide cleared from Colorado highway
The rockslide was reported mid-morning on U.S. Highway 40, west of Steamboat Springs, not only shutting down the highway, but causing CDOT to delay cleanup on I-70 in Glenwood Canyon from a separate incident.
