Jasprit Bumrah has taken 4-50 to help skittle Bangladesh for 149 and give India a first-innings lead of 227 runs on Day 2 of the first test.

In the Chennai Test, India's bowlers dominated as Bangladesh was bowled out for 149, giving India a lead of 227 runs. Jasprit Bumrah and Akash Deep were key in dismantling the Bangladeshi batting lineup.

Bangladesh were alive in the game and fighting when off-spinner Mehidy Hasan Miraz troubled the Indian batters with a five-wicket haul while defending a target of just 145 runs. In his five-for, Miraz dismissed Pujara, Gill, Kohli, Pant and Axar and had India reeling at 74/7. But, his effort went in vain as Iyer and Ashwin took India home.
