James Madison obliterated North Carolina during the first half of Saturday's game between the Dukes and Tar Heels to the tune of 53 points. It was already looking bad for North Carolina late in the second quarter,

James Madison entered 2-0; North Carolina was 3-0. Quarterback Alonza Barrett III threw three TD passes in the first half. He also rushed for two scores. JMU had two receivers over the 100-yard mark in the first 30 minutes.

That was particularly true down in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, where James Madison decided to go for broke and engage in a first-quarter boat race with the Tar Heels.
