While the Dallas Cowboys' 2024 NFL campaign was a disappointment, star edge rusher Micah Parsons' confidence is at an all-time high entering 2025.

Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons has been up close and personal with the Carolina Panthers and quarterback Bryce Young in each of the last two years. And apparently, he's seeing something not many currently are.

Parsons addressed the situation on his latest Bleacher Report podcast episode, focusing on Hill’s decision to leave Kansas City for Miami in 2022. The Cowboys star said leaving Patrick Mahomes, a three-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback, could have been a mistake.

Barring an unexpected contract reworking on Hill’s end, the Cowboys could struggle to build a competitive team if they are paying top-of-the-market salaries to two receivers in Hill and star wideout CeeDee Lamb, with quarterback Dak Prescott and potentially Parsons also being paid premium amounts.

Parsons has made it clear he would like to get a long-term contract extension on the books with the Cowboys before the start of free agency in March. The idea being that Parsons can lock in his deal and allow the Cowboys to focus energy on building a roster knowing what the budget looks like.

While Micah Parsons is a mega star on the football field, it is his obsession with winning and bitter hatred for losing that makes him even more valuable to the Dallas Cowboys. Parsons said after Sunday's season finale that he wants to meet with Jerry Jones to discuss the direction of the franchise and ways the team can get better.
