Apple''s feature in iOS 18 to secure and hide apps won't make all apps disappear
You will notice, if you're running iOS 18, a folder labeled "Hidden" which is where the device owner will see icons of the apps that have been hidden. To see the actual icons in that folder, you will have to prove your identity via Face ID. Others won't be able to discern which icons you have hidden on your device.
iOS 18 hidden apps are findable, if you know where to look
When an app is locked and hidden, iOS 18 prevents detection via many of the typical methods. App notifications are not shown, nor do results from that app appear in Spotlight search. Even if you go into the Storage screen in Settings, the names of hidden apps are obscured until biometrics authentication takes place.
