The Jaguars kept Trent Baalke as their general manager and it could cost them Ben Johnson as their head coach.

Baalke was officially retained by Jaguars owner Shad Khan on Monday, the same day Khan made the decision to fire head coach Doug Pederson. As things stand today, Baalke appears primed to play a key role in the future of the franchise.

Much to the chagrin of Jacksonville Jaguars' fans, owner Shad Khan gave maligned GM Trent Baalke another chance to lead another coaching search.
