The above video aired on Monday night before police told FOX8 about a fourth homicide in Greensboro. GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — The Greensboro community is trying to wrap their heads around the terrible start to the new year.

Despite life-saving efforts and being taken to a local hospital, police said Goolsby died of his injuries. Police later arrested suspect Jalen Xavier Burch, 25, and charged him with first-degree murder. This is Greensboro's fourth homicide of 2025, according to the police department.
