Former India cricketer and head coach Ravi Shastri has advised Virat Kohli to change his game plan while facing spinners after his dismissal in the second innings of the first Test against Bangladesh.

Kohli was dismissed by right-arm offbreak bowler Mehidy Hasan Miraz for 17 in India’s second innings during the first Test against Bangladesh. That was the 18th time since 2021 that Kohli got out to spinners.

At the end of day three, India was 81/3, with Shubman Gill (33*) and Rishabh Pant (12*) unbeaten, having lost their top order consisting of Rohit (5), Jaiswal (10) and Virat (17) early. India leads by 308 runs.
