Nearly all of Britain has been covered by snow and ice warnings - and the Met Office is urging people to be prepared for weather chaos.

The Met Office has issued yellow and amber snow warnings for much of the UK as the country prepares to be blanketed in as much as 40cm of snow this weekend.

The Isle of Man Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for Sunday. The alert will last four hours and will kick-in during the window for the current amber warning for snowy conditions.
