Nick Saban was a head coach in the SEC for quite some time. He spent 2000-04 with the LSU Tigers and 2007-23 with the Alabama Crimson Tide. Saban won a national title with LSU in 2003 and six with Alabama.

Legendary Alabama head coach Nick Saban saw it all while he patrolled the sidelines. That included a few trips to Nashville to face the Vanderbilt Commodores. While Saban retired earlier this year, the former Crimson Tide head coach does not appear to have done a complete about-face on Vandy.
